Bridgewater Soccer Assn

Structure and Team Costs

Founded in 1975 the Bridgewater Soccer Academy (BSA), formerly Bridgewater Soccer Association, has grown to become a flagship club playing in the Mid New Jersey Youth Soccer Association (MNJYSA), MAPS, JAGS and EDP programs.

BSA is a soccer club serving boys and girls in the Bridgewater - Raritan area. It attracts players of all levels of ability in order to maintain the full spectrum of our program. We provide an opportunity for the first time player to the seasoned one where the demands of competition can be satisfied. The club strives to provide quality education and training opportunities for every player. BSA sponsors an all inclusive soccer program.

Player development and fun continues to be an important element and focus of our soccer program. Year round competitive play for all players, or seasonal soccer experiences for some, highlights our program. Our commitment to the soccer player and their family has provided years of success as we lead the continued growth of soccer here in our community.

BSA U8 Program Team Costs are as follows:

Bridgewater Soccer Academy (BSA) has created a introductory program for travel soccer at the U8 level that is in line with US Soccer's guidelines for this age group.

U8 rosters are typically 10 to 12 players in size and practices are led by a professional trainer twice a week for one hour each during the fall and spring seasons.

Games are usually on a Saturday and are in a 7v7 format. Games are supervised by the professional trainer.

The U8 program has a fixed cost of $700 per year that covers the trainer activity mentioned above, game day uniform, referee fees league and player pass registration costs as well as entry into the BSA pre-season tournament in September. This non-refundable fee is payable in June at the initial parent meeting.

Teams often add to this program with additional activities such as winter training. These are decided on, and funded separately, by the team.
